The second mission for 2013, was conducted by Pr André Roth and Dr Moïra Bumbacher who have been teaching strabismus surgery techniques to local surgeons since 2007, mainly operating with Dr Sunita Gunnoo Kowlessur.
During their stay, more than 100 patients were examined, some of which had been operated during Pr Roth and Dr Bumbacher’s last mission in January 2012. Eighteen patients were selected for surgery, mostly children presenting severe strabismus pathologies.
