From April 6 to April 10, Both Pr Cyrus Tabatabay and Dr Priyanka Sood (from Weill Cornell Medical School, New York), worked at the Subramania Bharati Eye Hospital, in Moka. No less than 260 patients have been assessed by the two physicians. 43 surgeries have been carried out, among wich 15 vitro-retinal surgeries and 15 corneal grafts.
Dr Sood has donated 15 corneas for the graft from the Southern Eye Bank, New York. The estimated value of this gift of the corneas is no less the US $ 30’000. We are very grateful to the Eye Bank Association of America for their great generosity and infallible support.
