During T.E.S. Foundation’s 29th mission in Subramaniam Bharati Eye Hospital, Pr. Tabatabay delivered certificates to the specialists of Moka Eye Hospital who collaborated at least five years with the foundation. This ceremony took place in presence of the Honorable Minister of Health and Quality of Life.
During this same mission, 31 corneal transplantations have been conducted under the supervision of Prof. Cyrus Tabatabay and assistant Prof. Ana Alzaga, M.D., Weill Cornell Medical College, New York.
The Eye Bank for Sight Restoration, Inc. in New York provided 12 grafts, the Lion’s Club of Port-Louis 19.
T.E.S Foundation donated 70 trephines to realise the grafts.
